OUR STORY

Huber and Carla Pineda left Sacramento in search of a fresh start, a calmer lifestyle, and a place to bring their culinary dream to life. Wichita was the perfect fit. Inspired by their California roots and named after their daughter Ximena (“Mena”), Mena’s Donut House opened its doors to share more than just donuts with the community. From classic glazed and hearty cake-style donuts to sweet and savory crepes, scratch-made cinnamon rolls, fluffy waffles, pancakes, bagels, and playful pancake tacos, everything is made fresh daily and served with a smile.

Every idea on the menu comes from the Pinedas’ passion for food and family, and their hours — starting before sunrise and staying open late — ensure there’s always something fresh waiting. Just months after relocating, they already feel at home in Wichita’s welcoming community and are excited to share their flavors with neighbors old and new. Whether you’re stopping in for coffee and a quick bite, or boxing up a dozen to take home, Mena’s Donut House is here to make every visit a little sweeter.
